JJ was a one-of-a-kind gentleman always with a smile and a warm hello. You can rest assured that he was friends with everyone that he met. A hard working individual that earned his honest personality and student love. He will be missed by many but will be remembered by everyone!!

Prayers and sympathy go out to J. J.'s family. He was one of the sweetest men I ever knew. We had many years of working together going back to Bladen Elementary School. He will be missed. Love to his mother, Almira and his family.

I am so sorry to hear of JJ's passing. We worked many years together at Tar Heel Middle High School. He had a wonderful personality. He was always very pleasant. His students loved him. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face. Prayers for his family.

To the family of Mr. Johnson. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Johnson. We had so much fun working together in the Bladen County School System. He was always smiling. I will never forget Mr. Johnson. We all called him J.J. Family, you all are in my prayers. May God continue to bless and keep each and everyone of you in His loving care.
