Dear Heavenly Father, it is in humble submission that we ask you for comfort, as we announce to all, that Reverend Gene Franklyn McNeil Sr., affectionately known as “Frank”, has changed his physical address. What once was 736 Cemetery Rd., Riegelwood, NC is now 777, Highway 7 in that Beautiful City called Heaven. Reverend McNeil, quietly stepped out of life's backdoor at his residence surrounded by his devoted family on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

The Glorious and Amazingly beautiful Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order. Beginning on Friday, September 24, 2021 between the crisp summer evening hours of 5pm and 7pm a public gathering will come forth as Reverend McNeil lies in a tranquil repose in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Homes’ Riegelwood location. Visitors will be greeted by a formally dressed Majestic Servant of Service whose sole purpose is to cater to the needs of the McNeil family and those who have come to share love with their precious gem. On Saturday, September 25, 2021 being called to order promptly at 1 o’clock Post Meridian, the Angelic Obsequies fit for Heaven’s Royal Priesthood will take place by the Graveside in the Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church in Riegelwood, NC. Now that he has finally met the Man he has witnessed to others about for so many years and been honored to sit at the feet of the one he prayed to, not to mention beholding the beauty of the one he taught his children about, his spirit is satisfied and when the trumpet is sounded and the sky opens once and for all, the Master Himself will call his name saying, "Gene, you’ve been faithful, you’ve been true and you’ve done all you could ever do and for your faithfulness, ITS YOUR TIME."
