With loving arms of compassion the Majestic Funeral Homes Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Ms. Willette Flowers Smith as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Ms. Smith closed the curtains of life Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Petersburg, Virginia.
On Thursday, May 21, 2020 between the hour of 11am and 12noon, Ms. Smith will lie in peaceful repose for those who wish to spend moments with her at Wayne Memorial Park South On-Site chapel in Goldsboro, NC. The “Dash” between Ms. Willette's year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 12 noon at Wayne Memorial Park South. Following the Order of Divine Worship she will be escorted to her Final Resting Place at the park. Although it will be a major adjustment for Ms. Willette's family with her no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before her beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are serving the Smith and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
***Attention ALL EXTENDED FAMILY AND GUESTS***
Governor Roy Cooper has passed yet another Executive Order on Mass Gatherings and has reduced the limit of mourners who can attend a visitation and or funeral service. We can ONLY allow 50 guests including family members, ministers and staff to attend services and or be present in the same place at the same time. Our firm is committed to providing professional services to each family that we serve while abiding by all of the rules and regulations issued by our state officials. In an attempt to allow those who can’t be present in person to support those who are grieving, Majestic Funeral Home has implemented “Live Streaming” of all Funeral Services. The Bible teaches us that “the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak” so we feel allowing guests to view the funeral ceremonies with our families in “Real-Time” even if from afar will help those who have lost a loved one find solace knowing others still care. Please select the obituary of the loved one you wish to view services for and the option to watch service “Live” will appear.
God Bless each of you during this trying time in all of our lives.
