As difficult as the loss of a loved one is, it’s extremely difficult to say “Until We Meet Again." The staff and management of the Majestic Funeral Homes embrace the loving family of Ms. Vivian Riggins Willis as they remember the legacy of this precious jewel. Ms. Willis retired from life’s fitful fevers on Sunday afternoon at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
The Obsequies for Ms. Willis will begin on Monday, April 27, 2020 with a public visitation between the hours of 6pm and 7pm at the Majestic Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown, NC. The events will continue on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 with a Triumphant Life and Legacy Celebration commencing at 1pm at the Majestic Chapel. Compassionate Professionals will climax the celebrating events by escorting Ms. Wiilis along with her adored relatives and friends to the Mt. Olive AME Zion Church Cemetery where there will be an elegant and intimate committal service by the graveside.
It will be in this designated location that Ms. Willis will remain until Gabriel blows his trumpet and the King of Kings descends from Heaven with one foot on the celestial seas and one foot on a crimson cloud commanding all of His beloved children to enter into their mansion beyond the skies.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter: Gwendolyn Willis; her two sisters: Virginia Thomas and Emma "Cle" Riggins; three brothers: Gilbert Riggins Jr., Micheal Riggins and Lafeyette Riggins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at 1400 Gibson Dairy Rd., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are providing uncompromising care and concern to the Willis and connected families.
***Attention ALL EXTENDED FAMILY AND GUESTS***
Governor Roy Cooper has passed yet another Executive Order on Mass Gatherings and has reduced the limit of mourners who can attend a visitation and or funeral service. We are ONLY allowing 25 family members including ministers and staff to attend services and or be present in our establishment at the same time. Our firm is committed to providing professional services to each family that we serve while abiding by all of the rules and regulations issued by our state officials. In an attempt to allow those who can’t be present in person to support those who are grieving, Majestic Funeral Home has implemented “Live Streaming” of all Funeral Services. The Bible teaches us that “the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak” so we feel allowing guests to view the funeral ceremonies with our families in “Real-Time” even if from afar will help those who have lost a loved one find solace knowing others still care. Please select the obituary of the loved one you wish to view services for and the option to watch service “Live” will appear.
God Bless each of you during this trying time in all of our lives.
