Ms. Sonya Graham Gillespie

With loving arms of compassion the Majestic Funeral Homes Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Ms. Sonya Graham Gillespie as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take. Ms. Gillespie closed the curtains of life on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC. 

On Thursday, October 13, 2022 between the hours of 4pm and 6pm, Ms. Gillespie will lie in peaceful repose for those who wish to spend moments with her at Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. The “Dash” between Ms. Sonya’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 1pm at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church in Riegelwood, NC. Following the Order of Divine Worship in the sanctuary, Ms. Gillespie’s delicate temple along with her cherished relatives will be escorted to the church Cemetery in Riegelwood, NC for Interment Rites. Although it will be a major change for Ms. Sonya’s adored family with her no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, but all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all the saints that have gone on before her beholding the Master’s Glory, as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness. 

The family is receiving guests at the home of her parents located at 889 Kennedy Store Rd. Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
