Ms. Sherry Hayes

The book of Job declared "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." It is with genuine sadness that the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces the earthly departure of Ms. Sherry Hayes affectionately known as “Shay-Shay”. Ms. Hayes moved into her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. 

Precious moments have been set aside by this devoted family on Sunday, January 26, 2025, between the hours of 5pm and 7pm in the sanctuary of Light of the World Missionary Baptist Church located at 3601 Princess Place Drive in Wilmington, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Sherry. A Service to remember this precious jewel will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 2pm Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church located at 2929 Princess Pl Dr in Wilmington, NC. Although Ms. Hayes' family will leave that earthly place without this virtuous woman, they will rest knowing that she is now among the Heavenly Hosts singing that glorious hymn "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory."

The Hayes and connected families are receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from E.M. Matthews and the Majestic Servants of Service.
