Ms. Mico Bethea Obituary

With a multitude of compassion and concern, the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces the earthly departure of Ms. Mico T. Bethea. Ms. Bethea pulled the drapes on this journey called life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

On Monday, January 10, 2022 between the hours of 12noon and 2pm, Ms. Bethea will lie in peaceful repose for those who wish to spend moments with her in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. At 2pm, The “Dash” between Ms. Bethea’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be called to order. Following the Order of Divine Worship in the chapel, Ms. Bethea’s delicate temple along with her cherished relatives will be escorted to Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown, NC for Interment Rites. Although it will be a major change for Ms. Mico’s family with her no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing she is sitting at the Welcome Table with all the saints that have gone on before her beholding the Master’s Glory as she receives her golden keys and her crown of righteousness.

Mico left to cherish her memories: her mother: Patricia Bethea of Elizabethtown, NC; one sister: Tishika Hill of Bladenboro, NC; one brother: Garrick Bethea of Elizabethtown, NC; one special niece: Shanell McMillian of Bladenboro, NC; two nephews: Makei and Tykee Hill; one great nephew: Torian McDowell; three aunts: Janice Parker (William) of Conway, SC, Cheryl Coe of Florence, SC and Kimberly Coe of Nevador; three uncles: Coleman Doe (Karen) of Conway, SC, John Henry Doe of Wilmington, NC and Kevin Doe of Columbia, SC; three special aunts: Linda Faye McKoy (Charles), Doretha McDowell and Elizabeth Robinson, both of Elizabethtown, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving guests at 702 Della St., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for The Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.

The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are serving the Bethea and connected families with genuine care and love.
