Ms. Maybell Campbell Simpkins

Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father it has become the solemn responsibility of Majestic Funeral Home to inform all that Ms. Maybell Campbell Simpkins is now resting in paradise. Ms.Simpkins put down the cares of this life on Tuesday, May 11, 2020.

On Thursday, May 21, 2020 between the hour of 3pm to 4pm, Maybell will lie in peaceful repose at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown Campus. During these intimate moments, those special to Ms. Maybell and her adored family can support each other as they begin the healing process due to this tragic loss.  A Service Of Remembrance will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2pm at Faith Temple Holiness Church, 10808 South Lathan St., Clarkton, NC.  Following the life honoring services in the sanctuary, Ms. Simpkins and her cherished family will be escorted to Clarkton Community Cemetery for Interment Rites. 

Life long memories will forever be remembered by her children:  Kevin (Malik) Simpkins and Tanisha Lige (Andrew); grandchildren:  Ronald Campbell, Tamika Nicole Campbell, Iviana Brooks, Nila Simpkins, Anita McKiver and Shaleek Simpkins; sister:  Geraldine Smith; sisters- in-law:  Ruth Campbell and Margaret Burney and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitors are being received at the residence located at 339 Lucys Dr., Clarkton, NC where they will assemble for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.

Governor Roy Cooper has passed yet another Executive Order on Mass Gatherings and has reduced the limit of mourners who can attend a visitation and or funeral service.  We are ONLY allowing 50 family members including ministers and staff to attend services and or be present in the church at the same time and 25 for chapel services. Services are by invitation ONLY and a ticket MUST be presented at the door in order to attend.  The immediate family will give those tickets to the guest they would like to be present at the service.  Our firm is committed to providing professional services to each family that we serve while abiding by all of the rules and regulations issued by our state officials.  In an attempt to allow those who can’t be present in person to support those who are grieving, Majestic Funeral Home has implemented “Live Streaming” of all Funeral Services. The Bible teaches us that “the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak” so we feel allowing guests to view the funeral ceremonies with our families in “Real-Time” even if from afar will help those who have lost a loved one find solace knowing others still care.
