Ms. Lori Yvette Featherson

The moment has come when the Majestic Family must pause and inform all that Ms. Lori Yvette Featherson no longer resides on this side of the Jordan river. On Wednesday evening, October 20, 2021 that Glorious ship of Zion, left the dock at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC with Ms. Lori on board, bound for Paradise. 

On Tuesday, October 26, 2021 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm, Lori will lie in peaceful repose at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown Campus. During these intimate moments, those special to Ms. Lori and her adored family, can support each other as they begin the healing process due to this tragic loss. The celebratory events will climax with a Farewell Service of Remembrance on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 beginning at 11am on the grounds of Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church in the Abbottsburg community of Bladenboro, NC. Immediately following the services on the grounds, Ms. Featherson along with her adored family, will be escorted to the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery also in the Abbottsburg Community for Committal Rites. It is during these hours that all who gather can embrace each other realizing that God is still in charge and He will heal all broken hearts from this tremendous loss. 

Loving memories will be cherished by her three godchildren: Malcolm Vaught, Avianna Lloyd and Essance Murphy; one sister: Tisheia Featherson; two brothers: Ernest Featherson Jr and Virgil Smith; two nieces: Andrea Featherson and Tyrionna Dockery; one nephew: Terrence Featherson and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The family is receiving visitors at 10571 Center Rd., Bladenboro, NC during this difficult time, where they will also assemble for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
