In extreme sorrow, the staff of Majestic Funeral Homes is embracing the tender hearts of the loved ones of Ms. Juanita Smith. Ms. Smith received her angelic wings on Thursday morning, August 26, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. 

Precious moments have been sat aside by this devoted family on Saturday, September 4, 2021, between the hours of 11am and 12noon in the main Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Ms. Smith. 

She is survived by her only son Walter Lee Smith Jr.; daughter – in- law Kim Smith; five grandchildren Walter Mclendon, Christopher Smith, Crystal Smith, Shakayla Smith and Jeremiah Smith; one brother Junior Gowens (New York) and one sister Leslie Costin (Fayetteville, NC) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Juanita had a passion for cooking, she loved and enjoyed eating seafood. Juanita loved spending time and helping family, she loved living life to the fullest.
