The moment has come and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been given the solemn duty to announce, that Ms. Joyce A. Peterson is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but she is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Ms. Peterson began her life of everlasting peace on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

The Services honoring Ms. Peterson legacy will begin with hours of visiting on Saturday, March 26, 2022 between the hours of 2pm and 4pm in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment in Elizabethtown, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Ms. Peterson while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. On Sunday, March 27, 2022 commencing at 1pm, a Loving Farewell Ceremony will take place in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the farewell celebration, Ms. Peterson’s physical vessel and her cherished family will be escorted to New Hope Community Cemetery in Council, NC for Committal Rites. The Bible teaches us that the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak, therefore every person that steps through the threshold on that day to support this heartbroken family, will take a piece of the load from Ms. Joyce’s children and loved ones, therefore helping them begin to heal.

Left to cherish her memories are four children: Walleta Peterson, Breanne I. Peterson, Benjamin A. Peterson and Brooke A. Peterson; special son: Fletcher Boone; two sisters: Michelle Larkins, Biancus Melvin and a host of other relatives and friends

Guests are being received at 1609 Summerhouse St., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
