Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of Majestic Funeral Homes to inform all, that Ms. Goldie Edwards is now resting in paradise. Ms. Edwards put down the cares of this life on Thursday, February 23, 2023, while resting in Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Services to honor this radiant gem will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 beginning with an hour of visiting and reflecting from 1pm until 2pm, as Ms. Edwards lies in peaceful repose at Christ Cathedral 619 Cedar Creek Rd. Fayetteville, NC. Commencing at 2pm a Triumphant Celebration of Life will come forth, also in the main sanctuary of the church. As difficult as it will be for Goldie’s family to cope and continue this walk of life without her, all will find solace knowing she is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities. There, Goldie is resting by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal splendor.
