Ms. Wakefield transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, October 26, 2023, after receiving her heavenly summons in Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.

An intimate and meaningful Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 commencing at 11am at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Council, NC. During these moments, each participant and attendee can reflect on the fond memories of Erin and console her loving relatives as they say “until we meet again” to such a special part of their family.
