Ms. Dorothy Faye Waddell Brown

The book of Job declared " the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." It is with genuine sadness that the Majestic Funeral Home Famly announces the earthly departure of Ms. Dorothy Faye Waddell Brown. Ms. Brown moved into her Heavenly home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Whiteville, NC. 

On Tuesday, April 12, 2022 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm, Ms. Brown will lie in peaceful repose at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Riegelwood Campus. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1pm in the main Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Ms. Brown.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her precious memories: seven children: Robert L. Brown (Linda), Professor Cecil M. Brown, Cornelius Brown, Dorothy Elaine Brown, Brenda B. Hicks, Vivian B. Brown (Willie) and Fredrick E. Brown; seventeen grandchildren; one sister: Ruby Hardy; one brother: Wilbert Waddell (Laura Mae) and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Brown family is receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from the Majestic Servants of Service of Riegelwood.
