Ms. Carrie Gilmore Obituary

With genuine sympathy, the Majestic Funeral Homes announce the earthly transition of Ms. Carrie Gilmore from this life to life everlasting in paradise on Thursday afternoon, May 14, 2020 in Gwynn Oak, MD.

Services to commemorate Ms. Carrie’s life will begin on Friday, May 22, 2020 between the hour of 6pm-7pm at Majestic Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown.  A Service of Remembrance will begin promptly on Saturday, May 23. 2020 at 2pm at the Majestic Chapel.  Following the life honoring services in the chapel, Ms. Gilmore along with her adored family will be escorted to St. John Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumber Bridge, NC.  God promised to give them strength that surpasses all understanding and He can do what no their power can do.

Guests are being received at 948 Willard Tatum Rd., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.

The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are serving the Gilmore and connected families with uncompromising dignity.

***Attention ALL EXTENDED FAMILY AND GUESTS***

Governor Roy Cooper has passed yet another Executive Order on Mass Gatherings and has reduced the limit of mourners who can attend a visitation and or funeral service.  We are ONLY allowing 50 family members including ministers and staff to attend services and or be present in the church at the same time and 25 for chapel services. Services are by invitation ONLY and a ticket MUST be presented at the door in order to attend.  The immediate family will give those tickets to the guest they would like to be present at the service.  Our firm is committed to providing professional services to each family that we serve while abiding by all of the rules and regulations issued by our state officials.  In an attempt to allow those who can’t be present in person to support those who are grieving, Majestic Funeral Home has implemented “Live Streaming” of all Funeral Services. The Bible teaches us that “the strong shall bare the infirmities of the weak” so we feel allowing guests to view the funeral ceremonies with our families in “Real-Time” even if from afar will help those who have lost a loved one find solace knowing others still care. Please select the obituary of the loved one you wish to view services for and the option to watch service “Live” will appear.

God Bless each of you during this trying time in all of our lives.
