Submitting to the predestined will of God, our personal and funeral home family are consoling the remaining loved ones of Ms. Carlene Sherry Rush as they attempt to cope with this great loss. The Rush’s family circle was forever changed Wednesday, July 27, 2022 when Ms. Rush quietly went to sleep in the bosom of Jesus Christ while resting at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.
Commencing on Saturday, July 30, 2022 between the moments of 1pm and 3pm, Ms. Carlene’s earthen vessel will rest in the main Chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC for a time of visitation and reflection. A Service to remember this precious jewel will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2pm in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the proceedings in the Chapel, Ms. Carlene’s delicate temple along with her adored family, will be escorted to Mt. Zion AME Zion Church in Elizabethtown, NC for the interment rites. Although Ms. Carlene's family will leave that earthly resting place without this virtuous woman, they will rest knowing that she is now among the Heavenly Hosts singing that glorious hymn "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory."
Priceless memories will forever be etched in the hearts of so many such as two sisters: Debra Rush and Darlene Rush; one brother: Keith Nesmith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
The Compassionate Professionals at Majestic Funeral Home of Elizabethtown are humbled to be a part of this precious family and serve them with uncompromising dignity and love during this difficult time.
