Ms. Amaya Johnson & Princess Nova Mathis Obituary

As all remain in extreme sorrow and astonishing disbelief, the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been charged with the solemn responsibility to announce, that Ms. Amaya Johnson and Nova Mathis have transitioned from this life into life eternal. Mom and her daughter made this permanent change of address on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown.

The Legacy events will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2024 beginning from 2pm until 3pm with moments of visitation in the sanctuary of Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, NC. A Glorious Farewell Celebration fit for a queen and little princess will commence at 3pm. Immediately following the services in the sanctuary, Amaya and Nova’s delicate vessels along with their adored family, will be escorted to the Johnson Family Cemetery for Interment Rites. It will be in this designated location that Amaya and Nova will remain, until Gabriel blows his trumpet and the King of Kings descends from Heaven, with one foot on the celestial seas and one foot on a crimson cloud, commanding all of His beloved children to enter into their mansions beyond the skies. Although January 18th will always be a sad day for Amaya and Nova’s family having to say “good-bye” to these precious jewels, all can find solace knowing they are in that Land where everyday is going to be like Sunday and there is always “Howdy Howdy” and never anymore “good-byes”.

The family is receiving guests at 10580 Hwy 211 E. Council, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for The Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.

The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Home are catering to every desire of the Johnson and connected families.
