Obituary

As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Majestic Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Ms. Aleshia Vilee High as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with her. Ms. High got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Novant Health in Wilmington, NC.

Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Ms. High’s life, which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest, are finalized by her cherished family. This coming Friday evening, August 25, 2023 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm tender moments of reflection will take place, as Ms. Aleshia rests in tranquil repose in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Homes’ Riegelwood campus. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other as they prepare to say “farewell”. On Saturday afternoon August 26, 2023 commencing at 1pm, there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church in Riegelwood, N.C. Following the services in the House of God, Mrs. High’s delicate temple along with her adored family, will be escorted to the Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. Ms. Vilee was so much to so many and it will be difficult with her no longer being with us on this side. However, those who loved her can find solace knowing, she is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. There, she’s sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on milk and honey, while enjoying being in the presence of her Heavenly Father.

The family is receiving visitors at the residence located at 1574 East Arcadia Rd., Riegelwood, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
