Mrs. Willie Mae Smith

With sincere compassion and dedicated care, the Majestic Family has been given the responsibility to announce that Mrs. Willie Mae Smith has transitioned from this life to life eternal as of Friday, December 19, 2025 while resting at home in Whiteville, NC surrounded by her devoted family. 

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Mrs. Smith and her adored family can take part. Commencing on Saturday, December 27, 2025, between the moments of 1pm and 2pm, a time of visitation and reflection will be held at Mt. Hebron AME Zion Church in Hallsboro, NC as Mrs. Smith’s delicate temple rests in a state of peaceful repose at the altar in the House of Worship . A Triumphant “Royal Send-Off” Ceremony will be called to order following the visitation beginning at 2pm, also at Mt. Hebron AME Zion Church. Immediately following the Order of Divine Worship in the sanctuary, Mrs. Smith’s earthen vessel along with her adored family, will be escorted to the Hallsboro Cemetery in Hallsboro, NC for interment rites. Yes, this is as far as Mrs. Willie Mae’s relatives can trod with her on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to her loving family when he sat one day and put pen to parchment writing, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” Let the church say......... Amen. 

Visitors will be received at 604 N. Franklin St. Whiteville, NC during this time of transition.
