During this moment of sadness, the Majestic Funeral Homes Family is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Shirley Evangeline Bowen Bryant. On Thursday, Mrs. Bryant drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior as He stated, “Come unto Me, My dear child” while she rested at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
The hours of 5pm to 7pm on Monday, June 28, 2021 has been designated by the family for those who wish to spend intimate moments with Mrs. Bryant as she lies in peaceful repose in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. The Obsequies for this Virtuous Woman will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 commencing at 1pm on the grounds of Graham Chapel AME Zion Church in Riegelwood, NC. Following the Order of Divine Worship, Mrs. Bryant’s delicate temple along with her cherished relatives will be escorted to the Bryant Family Cemetery in Riegelwood, NC for Interment Rites. The Master’s promise has been revealed in Mrs. Bryant. He promised three-score years and ten, which is seventy years old, and He said by reason of strength, He would make it four-score years which equates to 80 years old. Mrs. Shirley was truly a Godly woman because our Heavenly Father saw fit to allow her family and friends to borrow her for 84 years. Now that she has finished her task here on earth, she is resting in paradise and enjoying the Heavenly Host.
Left to cherish her loving memories are her husband: George W. Bryant; eight children: George Bryant (Vern), Stanland Bryant, Alton Bryant, Lily Cromartie, Marilyn Harley, Warren Bryant, Erwin Bryant and Gregory Bryant; twenty-nine grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Neva Lloyd, Sadie Lawton along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at the residence located at 902 Bowen-Blanks Rd., Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
