Mrs. Lillie E. Martin of Elizabethtown, NC no longer answers to her name on this side of the Jordan and the Majestic Servants of Service are comforting her heartbroken loved ones with sincere compassion. Mrs. Martin wrote the last sentence of her “Life Sketch” on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Bladen East Health and Rehab in Elizabethtown, NC.
Services commemorating this priceless gem will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel in Elizabethtown, NC. Reflecting moments have been reserved by Mrs. Martin’s family on the same day from 10am until 11am. Following the reflecting moments, Mrs. Lillie’s delicate vessel along with her adored family will be escorted to the Mt. Olive AME Zion Church Cemetery for a Formal Graveside Service. Yes, it will be heartbreaking for this beloved family to depart from the designed earthly resting place without Mrs. Lillie, however, the shout through it all is that on the day Gabriel Sounds his Glorious Trumpet, those who are sleeping in the faith, shall rise up to meet Him in the Great Coronation. Mrs. Lillie will be given her golden crown and she will give it right back to the Master and we will crown Him King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband: Thomas Martin Jr; one son: Anthony L. Martin; one sister: Mary McKoy; three brothers: Willie Cromartie, Israel Cromartie and Charles Cromartie Jr; one grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitors are being received at 1776 Mercer Mill Rd, Elizabethtown, NC.
