With an abundance of love and concern, the Majestic Family is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Lena Johnson, as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this precious jewel. Mrs. Johnson closed the curtains on this journey called life on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington NC.
The Services of Remembrance events will begin with hours of reflection on Saturday between the hours of 6pm to 8pm at Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood. On Sunday commencing at 3pm a Glorious “See You later”Graveside Celebration will be held at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Riegelwood, NC. Yes, this is a very hard task for Mrs. Lena’s family to endure, yet they can rest knowing she is in the number John spoke of in the book of Revelations when it stated “those are they who have come up through hard trials and tribulations and have washed their robes in the Blood of the Lamb”.
Lena leaves to cherish her memories: one son: Curtis Lee Johnson Jr; four daughters: Rhonda Johnson, Joann Johnson, Curtistine Johnson-Gordon and Karen Jacqueline Wright; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen grandchildren; one sister: Retha Bell George; one brother: Oldelvin George; three sister-in-laws: Cassie George, Edith Johnson and Myrtle Johnson; special friends: Roger Brown, Betty Parker, Bessie M. Graham, Carlee Carter, East Arcadia Senior Citizens Club, Ricky Graham, Renee Hudson, Jacqueline Keaton, Delisha Lacewell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of the East Arcadia Community.
Visitors are being received at 1091 Graham Rd., Riegelwood, NC throughout this time of sadness and where all will assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
