On Saturday, May 1, 2021 commencing at 3pm, a Loving Farewell Graveside Ceremony will take place in the Davis Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC. Although this is a task that no son or daughter wishes to partake, God promised to give them a strength that surpasses all understanding and He can do what no other power can do.
Left to cherish her memories are her two sons: Ehrit Purdie (Lakeisha) and Jamaal Purdie (Kallie); two daughters: Shanita Purdie (James) and Kenshala Adams (Ray Jr); sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers Gregory Baldwin and Kenny Smith (Maria); step mother: Grace Baldwin; six sisters: Veronica Gillespie, Mariea Ruffin (Russell), Carrie Baldwin-Singletary (Harvey), Angela McMillan, Barbara Lennon (Delwynne), Sherre Dinnerson-Dixon (Rick) and a host of other relatives and friends.
