Mrs. Ernestine (Hines) Singletary

During this moment of sadness, the Majestic Funeral Homes Family is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Ernestine Hines Singletary. On Saturday, May 7, 2022 Mrs. Singletary drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior as He stated “Come unto Me, My dear child” while she rested at her residence surrounded by family at her bed side in Bladenboro, NC.

The hours of 5pm to 7pm on Friday, May 13, 2022 has been designated by the family for those who wish to spend intimate moments with Mrs. Singletary as she lies in peaceful repose in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. The Obsequies for this Virtuous Woman will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 commencing at 2pm on the grounds of Bryant Swamp Missionary Baptist Church in Bladenboro, NC. Following the Order of Divine Worship, Mrs. Singletary’s delicate temple along with her cherished relatives will be escorted to the Singletary Cemetery in Butters, NC for Interment Rites. The Master’s promise has been revealed in Mrs. Singletary. He promised three-score years and ten, which is seventy years old, and He said by reason of strength, He would make it four-score years which equates to 80 years old. Mrs. Ernestine was truly a Godly woman because our Heavenly Father saw fit to allow her family and friends to borrow her for 94 years. Now that she has finished her task here on earth, she is resting in paradise and enjoying the Heavenly Host. 

Left to cherish her loving memories are nine children: George Houston Singletary, Deborah L. Taylor, Tiajuana V. Mock, Anita L. Hall, James O. Singletary, Donna L. Ward, Anthony C. Singletary, Jacqueline D. Singletary and Alvin A. Singletary; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Guests are being received at the residence located at 1769 Zion Hill Church Rd., Bladenboro, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
