The moment in time has arrived and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been asked to announce to all that as of February 25, 2021, Mrs. Annie (Campbell) Smith formerly of the Portersville Community in Clarkton, NC has permanently changed her address to 777 Highway 7, in that beautiful city called Heaven.
The Legacy Remembering events will commence on Sunday, March 7, 2021 for moments of visitation and reflection from 1pm until 2:30pm as Mrs. Smith rests in peaceful repose in the main chapel on the pristine grounds of Majestic Funeral Home and Cremations in Elizabethtown, NC. At 3pm, a Triumphant Graveside Service will begin in the Mitchell Field Cemetery in Clarkton, NC. Mrs. Annie was so much to so many and it will be difficult with her no longer being with us on this side. However, those who love her can find solace knowing she is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. There, she’s sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on milk and honey while enjoying being in the presence of her Heavenly Father.
She leaves to cherish a loving husband for over 54 years: Clyde R. Smith; two sons: Anthony D. Smith Sr. (Bethany) and Terry J. Smith (Bridget) of Haledon, NJ; one sister: Ethelene Campbell-Lennon (Earl) of Clarkton, NC; one brother: Russell Lee Campbell of Whiteville, NC; special friends: Beatrice Jackson, Alexzine Hunter and Dorothy Foxworth; five grandchildren: Deanna (Jamar), Tori, Tyree, Anthony Jr. (TJ) and Tyion; two great grandchildren: Taylor, Jaxon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and church family.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are catering to the individual requests of the Smith and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
