The moment in time has arrived and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been asked to announce to all that Mr. Vernon S. Dunning Sr. has permanently changed his address to 777 Highway 7, in that beautiful city called Heaven as of September 27, 2024. 

Moments of reflection will take place on Thursday afternoon, October 3, 2024 from 1pm until 2pm in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. A Triumphant Life and Legacy Celebration will be held promptly on Thursday, as well, commencing at 2pm, also in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Dunning's delicate temple along with his adored family, will be escorted to the Johnson Family Cemetery in Kelly, NC for Committal Rites. Inspirational minds can imagine Mr. Dunning has settled into his brand new mansion in glory, admiring the solid gold floors and walls made of pure jasper. Not to mention his reunion with all of his friends and loved ones who have gone before him. Those that knew and loved Mr. Dunning can find solace realizing, he is sitting at the welcome table feasting on milk and honey with the heavenly host.
