As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Majestic Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the loved ones of Mr. Samuel Phillips, as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with him. Mr. Phillips got his ticket and stepped on that Glory Train on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Novant Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Beginning on Friday, January 19, 2024, tender moments of visitation and reflection will take place between the hours of 5pm and 7pm in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home’s Riegelwood campus. While there, relatives and friends can unite in love and support for each other, as they prepare to say “farewell.” On Saturday, January 20, 2024 commencing at 10am, there will be a Triumphant Legacy Celebration at Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church in the Northwest Community. Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Samuel’s mortal frame along with his adored family, will be escorted to Spring Green Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. Mr. Phillips was so much to so many and it will be difficult with him no longer being with us on this side. However, those who loved him can find solace knowing, he is now strolling the streets paved with pure gold free from all of life’s fitful fevers. There, he’s sitting at the Welcome Table feasting on milk and honey while enjoying being in the presence of his Heavenly Father.
The family is receiving guests at the home located at 17687 Old Lake Rd. Riegelwood, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are working around the clock to provide the Phillips and connected families with uncompromising dignity during this difficult moment in life.
