Mr. Raymond E. Bland

With genuine comfort and support, the Majestic Funeral Homes family announce the peaceful transition of Mr. Raymond E. Bland from this life to life everlasting on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

As desired, there will be moments to come visit with Mr. Bland and his devoted family on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the main Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC from 1:30pm until 2:30pm. The Loving Farewell Graveside Service will be held on the same day beginning at 3:30pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, NC. One may wonder why Mr. Bland would leave his earthly belongings here when he departed this past Saturday, however, those close to him find comfort understanding that where Raymond  is now there was no need for any of his earthly garments or shoes because he has a pair of Golden Slippers and a Long White Robe. 

 A rich legacy filled with loving memories will be forever cherished by his lovely wife: Janice Bland; three children: Karen Bland, Ramon Bland and Sean Bland; four  grandchildren; three great grandchildren; thirteen extended-grandchildren; two sisters: Sonja Bland and Tamara Bland; two brothers: Roland Bland, Ricardo Bland and a host of other relatives and friends.

Guests are being received at 13794 Old Lake Rd., Riegelwood, NC where all will assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
