Nicolae Josan, affectionately known as “Buzzy,” was born on November 26, 1945 in Alba Iulia, Romania.  He transitioned from this life to eternal life on November 7, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Wilmington, NC. 

Nicolae faced many hardships in his life, including fleeing communist Romania and seeking refuge in the US. He was a strong man who worked hard and was known for his generosity to those around him. He lived a simple life by choice and with contentment. He was a planner, and even in his last bit of time was thinking ahead. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: His children Gina Braswell (born in the US), Daniela Lazaresc, Dragoş Vasile Josan, and Calin Josan all of which were born in Romania, along with his granddaughter, Sage-Lael, whom he loved very much.

On Tuesday November 15, 2022 there will be moments of reflection at the Majestic Funeral Home Chapel in Riegelwood, NC between the moments of 1pm until 2pm. At the conclusion of those moments, Mr. Buzzy along with his precious loved ones will be escorted to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. 

The family will receive guests at the funeral home during the visiting time.
