Mr. Moses Porter

With sincere compassion and dedicated care, the Majestic Family has been given the responsibility to announce that Mr. Moses Porter transitioned from this life to life eternal on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at his residence in Riegelwood, NC.

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Mr. Porter and his cherished family can take part. Commencing on Monday, October 13, 2025, between the moments of 10am and 11am, a time of visitation and reflection will take place as Mr. Moses lies in peaceful repose in the sanctuary of Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church in Riegelwood, NC. A Triumphant Life Celebration Service will be called to order at 11am, also at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church. Following the celebration, Mr. Porter’s earthen vessel along with his devoted family will be escorted to the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. Yes, this is as far as Mr. Moses relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to Mr. Porter’s loving family when he wrote, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” Let the church say......... Amen. 

Visitors are being accepted at the residence located at 1535 Sand Hole Rd. Riegelwood, NC during this time of sadness.
