With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Majestic Funeral Home Family joins with the family of Mr. Malachi Wakee Matthews as they prepare to say “Until We Reunite."  Mr. Matthews transitioned from this life on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Malachi have been finalized and will commence on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2pm until 4pm for moments of reflection at Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Malachi’s family will climax his life remembrance with an See You Later Ceremony on Monday, May 16, 2022 in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC beginning at 12noon. Boyz to Men said it best when they put pen to parchment and wrote these heart felt lyrics: "How does this family say goodbye to what they had; the good times that made those special to Malachi’s laugh, will always outweigh the bad; his mother, siblings, family and friends thought they’d get to see forever, but since this past Monday forever has gone away.....it’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.”

Guests are being received at the residence located at 320 McKoy St., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
