The moment has arrived and Majestic Funeral Home has been charged with the compassionate duty to announce, that Mr. Makei Hill exited this door called life and walked through the door of eternity on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Makei have been finalized and will commence on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from the hours of 5pm until 7pm for moments of reflection at Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Makei’s family will climax his life remembrance with a Farewell Celebration on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 beginning at 2pm at the Whimiscal Event Center in Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the services, Makei and his loving family will be escorted to Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. As hard as it will be for Makei’s loved ones to go on without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to be a friend for the friendless, brother for the brotherless and a son to parents and grandparents who have lost their “everything” in a loving child and grandchild.
Makei leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Tishika Hill; father Shane Melvin; sisters: Shanell McMillian, Trashawna Melvin, My’Jah Campbell and Kalisha McCall; brothers: Tykee’ Hill, Jordan Robinson, Jakaria Jones, Da’shan McCutchen and Shan Alonzo Melvin; special nephew Torian McDowell (Toot) and a host of other nieces and nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Guests are being received at the residence of his beloved grandmother, Ms. Patricia Bethea, located at 702 Della St. Elizabethtown, NC, where all will assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
