With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. Lawrence Bernard Ballard Jr. are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link in their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the Majestic Funeral Homes Family. Mr. Ballard went down to the ticketing office on Thursday, May 27, 2021 and the train conductor Jesus Christ issued him a boarding pass bound for life in Paradise.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Mr. Lawrence will begin with a public visitation on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home Riegelwood, NC. On the following day Thursday, June 3, 2021 beginning at 12noon. The Celebration of Life service will be held on the grounds of 2507 Cedar Hill Rd NE in Navassa, NC. Following the celebration, Mr. Ballard along with his adored family will be escorted to the Robbin Family Cemetery in Leland, NC for Interment Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead.
A rich legacy filled with loving memories will be forever cherished by his wife: Karen Shanell Ballard; four children: Lashawn Ballard, Lawrence T. Ballard, Lawrence R. Ballard, Faizon Ballard and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving guests at 3976 John Davis Rd., Leland, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Funeral Motorcade.
