Mr. Lawrence B. McKoy Sr.

With sincere compassion and genuine concern, Majestic Funeral Homes personnel has been given the solemn responsibility to announce that Mr. Lawrence Bernard Mckoy Sr. transitioned from this life to life beyond the clouds on Monday, March 24, 2025 in Leland, NC.

Moments of Reflection will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Johnson Chapel AME Zion Church located at 1882 Lincoln Rd NE in Leland, NC between the tender moments of 11am and 12noon, as Mr. McKoy lies in peaceful repose at the altar in the church's main sanctuary. A Service of Triumphant Send - Off will begin promptly at 12noon. Following the mighty move of the Holy Spirit within the House of God, Mr. McKoy’s mortal frame along with his beloved family, will be escorted to Graham Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery in Riegelwood, N.C. for interment rites. Although this will be a sad day for those left on this side of eternity, the hymn writer has given the assurant hope when he put pen to parchment writing “ when we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the VICTORY”.
