With genuine comfort and support, the Majestic Funeral Homes family announce the peaceful transition of Mr. Johnnie McKoy Jr. from this life to life everlasting, Wednesday evening while resting at the Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Life Remembering Services for Mr. Mckoy, will begin with a visitation as Johnnie lies in tranquil repose, on Saturday between the hours of 2pm and 4pm at Majestic Funeral Homes Elizabethtown Campus. On Sunday beginning at 1pm, a Service of Remembrance will take place at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the services on the grounds of the Church, Mr. McKoy along with his adored family, will be escorted to the Pone Cemetery in Elizabethtown for Committal Rites. As difficult as it is to accept Johnnie no longer being present physically, all can find solace knowing that God promised to wipe away all tears from this family’s eyes, as they continue to cope with a missing link in their family’s chain.
Life long memories will forever be remembered by his four daughters: Priscilla Lorraine Jackson, Jessica A. Wilson, Cereca Ansernette Newkirk (Mitchell) and Jona Cherrelle McKoy; two sons: John Fitzgerald McKoy (Patricia) and Gary Butler McKoy; three sisters: Shirley Carter, Jacqueline Smith and Gloria McGill; three brothers: Clyde McKoy, Walter Rhodie and Kenneth Mckoy; along with a host grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
