Mr. John F. Ballard

With heavy hearts and solemn emotions the loved ones of Mr. John Ballard are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the Majestic Funeral Homes Family. Mr. Ballard went down to the ticketing office while in New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. on Wednesday evening and the train conductor Jesus Christ, issued him a boarding pass bound for life in Paradise. 

Services to commemorate the legacy of Mr. Ballard will begin with a public visitation on Thursday evening between the hours of 6pm and 8pm, where Mr. Ballard will lie in a tranquil repose in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood located at 5719 Old Stage Hwy. The events will climax with an intimate Obsequies on Friday at 2pm at Bethel AME Church in the Northwest Community of Brunswick Co. Following the celebration in the house of God, Mr. Ballard along with his adored family will be escorted to the Church Cemetery for Interment Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness, while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead. 

A rich legacy filled with loving memories will be forever cherished by his children: John Ballard Jr., Juanita Jackson, Pernice Freeman, Eleanor Yvonne Ballard and Avery Deon Ballard; 2 brothers: Ernest Grady and Benny Edwards and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving guests at 4305 Saw Mill Rd. Northwest, where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Funeral Motorcade.
