With genuine comfort and support, the Majestic Funeral Homes family announce the peaceful transition of Mr. John Fredrick Bowden affectionately known as “Freddy B” from this life to life everlasting, Saturday, August 7, 2021 while resting at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Life Remembering Services for Mr. Bowden, will begin with a visitation as Freddy lies in tranquil repose, on Friday, August 13, 2021 between the hours of 4pm and 6pm in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown location. On Saturday, August 14, 2021 beginning at 12noon, a Service of Remembrance by the Graveside will take place in the Goodman Cemetery in Tar Heel, NC. As difficult as it is to accept Freddy B no longer being present physically, all can find solace knowing that God promised to wipe away all tears from this family’s eyes, as they continue to cope with a missing link in their family’s chain.
Freddy B leaves to cherish memories his beautiful daughters: Nicole Bowden-Hall, Dominique (Anthony)Coples, JeneenSinclair, Missy Sinclair, Juantina (Terrance) Bowden, Fredarika Bowden, & Jasmine Sinclair. Handsome son: Antawan Sinclair, & Bonus Son: Corey Martin. Loving Sister: Lenora Bowden & Best Friend & Brother: Horace (Fannie) Bowden, Maternal Uncle: Leroy (Betty) Purdie. Pride & Joy Grandchildren; Grandsons: Dontae Ellis, Ja’Haun Thompson, Camren Sinclair, Christian Coples, Lynwood Lock, Landen Coples, Brayden Allen Hall, & Nicholas Sinclair. Two beautiful granddaughters: Taraji Thompson, & Ma’Loni Lowe. Bonus Siblings/Cousins: Linda (Curtis) Purdie, Sherry (Patrick)Brown, Arnold Purdie, Bruce Purdie, & Anthony Purdie. Special Nephews: Evangelo “Boom” Bowden, Mervyn “Stevie” Bowden, Kadeem Bowden, Horace “Bam” Glover, Donnell Glover, Tyrone Tatum, Stephan Kemp. Special Nieces: Brandy Johnson & Matorri Bowden. The family is receiving guests at 120 Bowden Ln, Tar Heel, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
