Mr. Jerry L. Mitchell

As all remain in extreme sorrow and astonishing disbelief, the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been charged with the solemn responsibility to announce, that Mr. Jerry L. Mitchell has transitioned from this life into life eternal. Jerry made this permanent change of address this past Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC . 

On Saturday, February 22, 2025 between the hours of 10am and 11am, visitation will take place as Mr. Mitchell will rest in a state of tranquil repose in the sanctuary of St John Missionary Baptist Church in Bolton, NC. A formal “farewell” celebration will take place following visitation also on Saturday commencing at 11am. Following the formalities in the sanctuary, Mr. Mitchell along with his devoted family will travel to Graham Chapel Cemetery in Riegelwood, NC for Committal Rites. Although it will be a major adjustment for Mr. Mitchell’s family with him no longer being present to enjoy precious moments, all can find comfort realizing he is sitting at the Welcome Table with all of the saints that have gone on before him, beholding the Master’s Glory as he receives his golden keys and his crown of righteousness.
