With heavy hearts and solemn emotions the loved ones of Mr. Jeremiah Yates are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the Majestic Family. Mr. Yates went down to the ticketing office at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC on Tuesday night and the train conductor Jesus Christ, issued him his boarding pass bound for life eternal.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Mr. Yates will begin with a public visitation on Saturday, February 20, 2021 between the hours of 2pm and 4pm at Majestic Funeral Homes Elizabethtown Campus. The “Farewell” Celebration of Life will take place on the grounds of St. Bethel Baptist Church located at 456 Old Lumberton Rd, Whiteville, NC on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the hour of 2pm. Following the services, Mr. Yates delicate temple along with his adored family, will be escorted to Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Whiteville, NC for Interment Rites. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead.
Jeremiah leaves to cherish his memories: four children: Jerrod Yates of Whiteville, NC, Ciera Lewis of Whiteville, NC, Ashka Lewis of Greenville, NC and Christopher Hawkins of Fayetteville, NC; four sisters: Patricia Chestnut of Whiteville, NC, Wanda Brown of Whiteville, NC, Linda Randoulph and Cinthy Randoulph both of Hopkins, SC; six brothers: Billy Ray Yates of Winston-Salem, NC, Jerome Yates of Whiteville, NC, Steve Godfrey (Joyce), Tarry Stanford (Delores), James Steward Stafford and Scottie Stafford all of New Haven Connecticut and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 the family will not be accepting visitors at this time.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic are working diligently to provide the Yates and connected families the unconditional love and support needed to make it through this journey.
