With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. James Shipman are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and being assisted with this difficult task by the Majestic Funeral Homes Family. Mr. Shipman went down to the ticketing office on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 and the train conductor Jesus Christ issued him a boarding pass bound for life in Paradise.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Mr. Shipman will begin with a public visitation on Sunday, November 21, 2021 between the hours of 1pm and 3pm in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. The Celebration of Life services will be held by the Graveside on Monday, November 22, 2021 beginning at 11am, in the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in the Abbottsburg community in Bladenboro, NC. During these “so-long” events, those in attendance will be able to bring some sense of closure during this moment of sadness while relying on their faith in the Master to see them through the difficult days that lie ahead.
A rich legacy filled with loving memories will be forever cherished by his three children: Diane Shipman, Doris Shipman George and Michelle Shipman; one sister: Joann Simmons and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic of Elizabethtown are working diligently to provide the Shipman and connected families the unconditional love and support needed to make it through this journey.
