With genuine sympathy, the Majestic Funeral Homes announce the transition of Mr. James Robinson from this life to life eternal Tuesday afternoon at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
On Saturday September 26, 2020 beginning at the 4 o’clock hour, a Service of Remembrance Graveside will take place at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery in Magnolia, NC. He will lie in peaceful repose an hour prior to the service. It will be an adjustment for Mr. Robinson’s relatives not being able to spend time with him any longer while here. However, the silver lining is just as the songwriter penned, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.”
He was preceded in death by his parents: Stephen C. Robinson and Nellie Safrit Merrit; one brother: Odward Lee Robinson.
James leaves to cherish his memories: two children: Perry S. Robinson and Kimberly M. Robinson-Smith; three grandchildren: Andy L. Robinson, Lawrence M. Smith and Johnathan C. Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Compassionate Professionals of Majestic Funeral Homes are serving the Robinson and connected families with uncompromising dignity.
