With an abundance of sympathy, the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces to all that Mr. Henry Gordon Norton Sr., no longer answers to his name on this side because he answered his Heavenly Father’s summons on Thursday, June 19, 2025 while resting in Chadbourn, NC.

The Glorious and Amazingly beautiful Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order. Beginning on Sunday, June 29, 2025 between the moments of 12noon and 1pm the gathering of guests will come forth, as Mr. Norton lies in a tranquil repose atop of an ornate silver casket bier suitable for a king in the sanctuary of the Trueway Apostolic Church of Christ in Whiteville, NC. Visitors will be greeted by a formally dressed Majestic Servant of Service, whose sole purpose is to cater to the needs of the Norton family and those who have come to share love to this wonderful family.  At 1pm, the Angelic Obsequious fit for Heaven’s Royal Priesthood will be called to order. At the conclusion of the Triumphant “Send Off”, Mr. Norton’s earthen vessel along with his adored relatives will be escorted to his earthly waiting room called Campground Cemetery, until his name is called to receive his crown of Righteousness . Now that he has finally met the Man he has heard about for so many years and been honored to sit at the feet of the one he prayed to, his spirit is satisfied and when the trumpet is sounded and the sky opens once and for all, the Master Himself will call his name saying Henry “you’ve been faithful, you’ve been true and you’ve done all you could ever do and for your faithfulness, ITS YOUR TIME.
