The moment has come and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been given the solemn duty to announce that Mr. George G. Cooper is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but he is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Mr. Cooper began his life of everlasting peace on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Shoreland Health Care & Retirement Center in Whiteville, NC.

The Services honoring Mr. Cooper’s legacy will begin with hours of visiting on Monday, November 22, 2021 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm at Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather and remember better days with Mr. Cooper while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. On Tuesday, November 23, 2021 commencing at 12noon, a Loving Farewell Ceremony will take place in the main chapel of Majestic Funeral Homes’ Riegelwood location. Following the services in the chapel, Mr. Cooper's earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to the Garland Community Cemetery in Garland, NC for Interment Rites. As difficult as it will be for his family to dismiss from this earthly resting place without George, all will find solace knowing he is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities. There, he will rest by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal paradise.

Left to cherish his memories: one son: George E. Cooper; five sisters: Shirley Brown James (Mack), Angie Cooper, Brenda P. Thomas, Anita Blackwell and Deborah Mapson; four brothers: Otis Pelham (Orine), Samuel Pelham (Sharon), Richard Pelham (Carol), Van Pelham and a host of other relatives and friends.

Guests are being received at 2442 Maco Rd NE, Leland, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
