Mr. Gary Odell Lewis “Trackdown”

As difficult as the loss of a loved one is, it’s extremely difficult during the holiday season. The Majestic Funeral Homes family embrace the loving family of Mr. Gary Odell Lewis affectionately known as “Trackdown” formerly of Elizabethtown, NC as they remember this precious gem. Mr. Lewis retired from life’s fitful fevers on November 25, 2021 in Charlotte, NC.  

Commencing on Saturday, December 4, 2021 between the moments of 12noon and 1pm, Mr. Gary’s earthen vessel will rest in the Lesesne Cemetery in Elizabethtown, NC for a time of visitation and reflection. Immediately following the visiting hours at 1pm, the official Obsequies will be called to order. It will be in this assigned location that Mr. Lewis will remain, until Gabriel blows his trumpet and the King of Kings descends from Heaven with one foot on the celestial seas and one foot on a crimson cloud, commanding all of His beloved children to enter into their mansion beyond the skies.

Gary was preceded in death by his father: David Lewis, Sr; mother: Juanita Andrades; brother: Jonathan Lewis and sister: Anita P. Holmes.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Denise Lewis; six daughters: Shawnbrena Thurman, Sharonda Thurman, Gloris Renee Lewis, Racheal Rimple, Michelle Smith and Quenisha Harrison; one son Marlon Avila; four sisters: Demetrius Holmes-Watson (Willie), Vickie Davis (Dennis), Delphia Regan (Walter) and Krista Hayes (Redden); four brothers: Michael Watts, Timothy Lewis, Shaun Lewis and David Lewis; two aunts: Theia and Betty Lou; one uncle: Jimmie Lesesne; ten grandchildren; his favorite cousin more like a brother Danny McLeod and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving guests at 404 Quail St., Elizabethtown, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Majestic Ebony Funeral Motorcade.
