With sincere compassion and genuine concern, Majestic Funeral Homes personnel has been given the solemn responsibility to announce that Mr. Ernest Grady Sr. transitioned from this life to life beyond the clouds on Wednesday October 5, 2022 at his residence in Leland, NC.

Moments of Reflection will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Navassa, NC between the tender moments of 10am and 11am, as Mr. Grady lies in peaceful repose at the altar in the church's main sanctuary. A Service of Triumphant Send - Off will begin promptly at 11am. Following the mighty move of the Holy Spirit within the House of God, Mr. Grady’s mortal frame along with his beloved family, will be escorted to Summerville AME Zion Church Cemetery in Leland, N.C. for interment rites. Although this will be a sad day for those left on this side of eternity, the hymn writer has given the assurant hope when he put pen to parchment writing “ when we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the VICTORY”.
