Mr. Eric Lavon Chancy II “Lil Eric”

With profound sadness and genuine compassion, the Majestic Funeral Home Family announces that Mr. Eric Lavon Chancy II affectionately known as “Lil Eric” waved goodbye to all nurses, doctors, his family and this world as he was escorted by two Heavenly Angels from Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC to Glory on Friday, June 10, 2022. 

Eric’s mother and father will climax his life remembrance with a Triumphant Farewell Ceremony on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Elizabethtown Middle School Gymnasium in Elizabethtown, NC beginning at 1pm. Immediately following the formalities in the Gymnasium, Lil Eric earthen vessel along with his cherished family, will be escorted to the Mt. Olive AME Zion Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown, NC for Committal Rites. As hard as it will be for Eric’s mother and father to depart without their Ray of sunshine, God our Heavenly Father promised to be a father for the fatherless and a son for a mother who’s lost her precious child.

Loving memories will be always remain in the hearts of those dear to Eric such as: his loving mother: Tracy Chancy; father: Eric L. Chancy; two children: Karter and Karson Chancy; fiancé: Brittany Townsend; three sisters: Qua’Shonda Richardson, Erica Wilson and Delila Smith; two brothers: De’Onbre Kemp, ShaQuan Pone and a host of other special relatives and friends. 

The family is receiving guests at the residence located at 162 White Plains Church Rd., Clarkton, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for The Majestic Ebony Motorcade. 

The Chancy and connected families are receiving services of compassion and distinguished class by the Majestic Servants of Service in Elizabethtown.
