Mr. Elvin Ray Scott peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Intimate moments have been sat aside on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm in the in the main chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Establishment in Elizabethtown, NC for family and friends to reflect on the fond memories of Mr. Elvin with his loving family. A Triumphant Life Celebration will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11am on the grounds of Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church in Riegelwood, NC. Immediately following the services on the grounds of the Church, Mr. Scott along with his adored family, will be escorted to the Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. It is in this holding place that Mr. Elvin will remain, until that Great Coronation in the middle of the air, when all of God's children will meet and crown Him King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife: Monareia Henry Scott; his children: Teisha Henry, Rashonda Henry, Demetria Henry, Terrill Henry, and Leon Johnson; fourteen grandchildren; ; his sisters: Marjorie Lacewell-Graham and Janice Lacewell: his brother: Isaac Scott III; a special nephew: Darren Lacewell; a very special and devoted friend: Debra Purdie and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving guests at 1077 Graham Rd., Riegelwood, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for The Prestigious Majestic Ebony Motorcade.
The Scott and connected families are being served by the Majestic Funeral Home Family in Elizabethtown.
