Mr. Derrick C. Rich Jr

The moment has come, that the staff and management of Majestic Funeral Home must announce the earthly departure of Mr. Derrick Rich Jr. Mr. Rich quietly stepped out of life's backdoor on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. 

Precious moments have been set aside by this devoted family on Thursday, November 11, 2021 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm in the main Chapel on the campus of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Mr. Derrick. Beginning at 11am on the following day, A Graveside Service will take place in Smith Cemetery in White Lake, NC.

Mr. Rich is survived by his loving mother: Kristy Merritt Rich; father: Derrick C Rich Sr. (Marcia Carter Rich); two sisters: Brittny Rich and Chasytie Mishow; four brothers: John Rich, CC Rich, Kaleb Carter and Keith Joyner; maternal grandparents: Dottie Fowler (Tim) and Danny Merritt (Barbara); aunts and uncles: Steve and Linda Norris, Wendy and Danny Merritt, Linda and Jeff Beard, Tina and Chad Bullard; special cousin: Kimberly Bullard and host of other cousins and friends.

The Rich and connected families are receiving services of compassion and distinguished class from the Majestic Servants of Service of Elizabethtown.
