Mr. Daniel Lewis Jr.

With sincere compassion and concern, the Majestic Family stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Daniel Lewis Jr., as they prepare to celebrate his life. Mr. Lewis transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday March 25, 2023 after receiving his heavenly summons in Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Whiteville, NC.

An intimate and meaningful Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, March 31, 2023 commencing at 3pm until 4pm, where moments of visitation will take place as Mr. Lewis lies in tranquil repose at Majestic Funeral Homes’ Elizabethtown Campus. Beginning at 4pm a Loving Farewell will be called to order in the Majestic Life Celebration Chapel. During these moments, each participant and attendee can reflect on the fond memories of Daniel and console his loving relatives as they say “until we meet again” to such a special part of their family. Immediately following the formalities in the chapel, Mr. Lewis and his cherished family will be escorted to Mt. Zion AME Zion Church Cemetery for Committal Rites. 

Yes, this is as far as Mr. Lewis’ relatives can trod with him on this side of eternity, however, John the Revelator has sent good news to Mr. Daniel’s loving family when he wrote, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” Let the church say......... Amen.
