It is with heavy hearts that the staff of Majestic Funeral Home & Cremations announce the earthly transition of Mr. Charlie Davis Jr. from this life to life eternal. Mr. Davis entered into everlasting rest on January 29, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Whiteville, NC.
Life and Legacy Services for Mr. Davis will commence with a public visitation on Thursday, February 4, 2021 between the hours of 6pm and 7pm in the Majestic Funeral Establishment in Elizabethtown, NC. A formal “farewell” celebration will take place on Friday, February 5, 2020 at 2 o,clock post meridian in the A.B. Hobbs Memorial Chapel on the premises of Majestic Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Immediately following the formalities in the Chapel, Mr. Davis earthen vessel along with his cherished family will be escorted to the Brooklyn Memorial Gardens for Interment Rites. Although Mr. Charlie exited this daily walk called life, those whom he loved and loved him can find solace knowing he has walked into the Garden of Rest where everyday is as peaceful and beautiful as a bright Sunday morning and the sunlight brightens the day from the rays of our Heavenly Father.
Left to cherish his fond memories: one daughter: Katonia Davis; one son: Terry Davis (Gloria); six grandchildren: Niquana Lewis Brown, Ashley Davis, Shanee Davis, Latoya Davis, Brandon Davis and Khalyah Terry Davis; eight grandchildren: Tori Newkirk, Jaylon Newkirk, Sicere McKinley, Adin Singletary, Jalia Singletary, Shalia Singletary, Kaylen Davis and Grayson Davis; one sister: Betty Davis Connor (Hugh); four brothers: Wadell Davis, David Earl Davis, Danny Davis, Leon Davis (Sharon) and a host of relatives and friends.
The Davis and connected families are being served with Genuine Compassion and Distinguished Class by the Majestic Servants of Service.
